knock, I seek and ask for the grace of... Prayer To Our Lady of Perpetual Help May be said as often as you wish Oh Mother of Perpetual Help, grant that I may ever invoke your powerful name,
the protection of the living and the salvation of the dying. Purest Mary, let
your name henceforth be ever on my lips. Delay not, Blessed Lady, to rescue me
whenever I call on you. In my temptations, in my needs, I will never cease to
call on you, ever repeating your sacred name, Mary, Mary. What a consolation,
what sweetness, what confidence fills my soul when I utter your sacred name or
even only think of you! I thank the Lord for having given you so sweet, so
powerful, so lovely a name. But I will not be content with merely uttering your
name. Let my love for your prompt me ever to hail you Mother of Perpetual Help. Say one Hail Mary.
May be said as often as you wish Glorious Archangel St. Raphael, great prince of the
heavenly court, you are illustrious for your gifts of wisdom and grace. You are
a guide of those who journey by land or sea or air, consoler of the afflicted,
and refuge of sinners. I beg you, assist me in all my needs and in all my
sufferings of this life, as once you helped the young Tobias on his travels.
Because you are the “medicine of God”, I humbly pray you to heal the many
infirmities of my soul and the ills that afflict my body. I especially ask of
you the favor (name it) and the great grace of purity top prepare me to be the
temple of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
May be said to help you find a lost article St. Anthony, perfect imitator of Jesus, who received from
God the special power of restoring lost things, grant that I may find (name it)
which has been lost. At least restore to me peace and tranquility of mind, the
loss of which has afflicted me even more than my material loss. To this favor I
ask another of you: that I may always remain in possession of the true good
which is God. Let me rather lose all things than lose God, my supreme good. Let
me never suffer the loss of my greatest treasure, eternal life with God. Amen. Prayer To Saint Dymphna For the mentally afflicted O God, we humbly beseech You, through Your servant, St.
Dymphna, who sealed with her blood the love she bore for You, to grant relief to
those who suffer from mental afflictions and nervous disorders, especially (name
it). Helper of those suffering from cancer,
heart trouble, and other serious ailments of soul and body. Prayer To Saint Therese of the Child Jesus and of the Holy Face May be said as often as you wish I greet you, Saint Therese of the Child Jesus, lily of purity, ornament and glory of Christianity. I greet you, great Saint, seraph of divine love. I rejoice at the favors our blessed Lord Jesus has liberally bestowed on you. In humility and confidence I ask you to help me, for I know that God has given you love and pity as well as power. Then, behold my distress, my anxiety, my fears. Tell Him my wants. Your requests will crown my petition with success, will fill me with joy. Remember your promise to do good on earth. Please obtain for me from God the graces I hope for from the infinite goodness of our blessed Lord, especially {mention your petition}. Amen.
For an expectant mother Great St. Gerard, beloved servant of Jesus Christ, you are
a perfect imitator of our meek and humble Savior, and a devoted child of the
Mother of God. Enkindle in my heart one spark of that heavenly fire of charity
that glowed in yours and made you a beacon of love. Prayer To Saint Peregrine, "The Cancer Saint" May be said anytime by those who have cancer Glorious wonder-worker, St. Peregrine, you answered the
divine call with a ready spirit, and forsook all the comforts of a life of ease
and all the empty honors of the world to dedicate yourself to God in the Order
of His holy Mother. You labored manfully for the salvation of souls. In union
with Jesus crucified, you endured painful sufferings with such patience as to
deserve to be healed miraculously of an incurable cancer in your leg by a touch
of His divine hand. Obtain for the me the grace to answer every call of God and
to fulfill His will in all events of life. Enkindle in my heart a consuming zeal
for the salvation of men. Deliver me from the infirmities that afflict my body
(especially ...). Obtain for me also a perfect resignation to the sufferings it

sorrowful Mother, I may merit eternal glory in heaven.
May be said anytime when you feel you are in need of help Holy Patroness of those in need, St. Rita, you were humble,
pure and patient. Your pleadings with your divine Spouse are irresistible, so

your praises forever.
May be said anytime when you feel you are in need of help Bless the Lord, all you His Angels, you who are mighty in
strength and
May be said anytime when you feel you are in need of help Glorious Saint Joseph, foster-father and protector of Jesus Christ, to you I
raise my heart and my hands to implore your powerful intercession. Please obtain
for me from the kind Heart of Jesus the help and the graces necessary for my
spiritual and temporal welfare. I ask particularly for the grace of a happy
death and the special favor I now implore. May be said anytime when you feel you are in need of help Glorious Saint Joseph, you are the pattern of all who work. Obtain for me, please, the grace to work conscientiously and to put devotion to duty before my selfish inclinations. Help me to labor in thankfulness and joy, for it is an honor to employ and to develop by my labor the gifts I have received from almighty God. Grant that I may work in orderliness, peace, moderation and patience without shrinking from weariness and difficulties. I offer my fatigue and perplexities as reparation for sin. I shall work, above all, with a pure intention and with detachment from self, having always before my eyes the hour of death and the accounting which I must then render of time ill-spent, of talents unemployed, of good undone, and of empty pride in success, which is so fatal to the work of God. For Jesus through Mary, all in imitation of you, good Saint Joseph. This shall be my motto in life and in death. Amen.
For the mentally afflicated O God, we humbly beseech You through Your servant, St. Dymphna,
May be said anytime you feel like life is at it's worst and many things are going wrong in your home. A good time to say this would be when your home is filled with tension and family members are fighting constantly, and bad things appear to be happening around your home and to your family members on a recurring and never-ending basis. Usually this prayer is said in last resort situations when things seem to be at their worst and the situation with your home and/or family appears hopeless. NOTE: You may have heard the word "exorcism" in Hollywood movies. Do not be alarmed by the word as it simply means a prayer used to drive evil out of your home and away from your family. Say it as often as you feel you need to, it is extremely effective! Many say they notice immediate peace in their homes after saying this prayer. Part 1: Prayer to St. Michael In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. Amen. Most glorious Prince of the Heavenly Armies, Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in “our battle against principalities and powers, against the rulers of this world of darkness, against the spirits of wickedness in the high places” (Eph., 6,12). Come to the assistance of men whom God has created to His likeness and whom He has redeemed at a great price from the tyranny of the devil. Holy Church venerates thee as her guardian and protector; to thee, the Lord has entrusted the souls of the redeemed to be led into heaven. Pray therefore the God of Peace to crush Satan beneath our feet, that he may no longer retain men captive and do injury to the Church. Offer our prayers to the Most High, that without delay they may draw His mercy down upon us; take hold of “the dragon, the old serpent, which is the devil and Satan”, bind him and cast him into the bottomless pit ... “that he may no longer seduce the nations” (Apoc. 20, 2-3). Part 2: Simple Exorcism Prayer In the Name of Jesus Christ, our God and Lord, strengthened by the intercession of the Immaculate Virgin Mary, Mother of God, of Blessed Michael the Archangel, of the Blessed Apostles Peter and Paul and all the Saints, we confidently undertake to repulse the attacks and deceits of the devil. Psalm 67 God arises; His enemies are scattered and those who hate Him flee before Him. As smoke is driven away, so are they driven; as wax melts before the fire, so the wicked perish at the presence of God. V. Behold the Cross of the Lord, flee bands of enemies. (The crosses below indicate a blessing to be given if a priest recites the
Exorcism; if a lay person recites it, they indicate the Sign of the Cross to be
made silently by that person.) Most cunning serpent, you shall no more dare to deceive the human race, persecute the Church, torment God's elect and sift them as wheat. + The Most High God commands you, + He with whom, in your great insolence, you still claim to be equal. “God who wants all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth” (I Tim. 2,4). God the Father commands you. + God the Son commands you. + God the Holy Ghost commands you. + Christ, God's Word made flesh, commands you; + He who to save our race outdone through your envy, “humbled Himself, becoming obedient even unto death” (Phil.2,8); He who has built His Church on the firm rock and declared that the gates of hell shall not prevail against Her, because He will dwell with Her “all days even to the end of the world” (Matt. 28,20). The sacred Sign of the Cross commands you, + as does also the power of the mysteries of the Christian Faith. + The glorious Mother of God, the Virgin Mary, commands you; + she who by her humility and from the first moment of her Immaculate Conception crushed your proud head. The faith of the holy Apostles Peter and Paul, and of the other Apostles commands you. + The blood of the Martyrs and the pious intercession of all the Saints command you. + Thus, cursed dragon, and you, diabolical legions, we adjure you by the living God, + by the true God, + by the holy God, + by the God “who so loved the world that He gave up His only Son, that every soul believing in Him might not perish but have life everlasting” (St.John 3, 16); stop deceiving human creatures and pouring out to them the poison of eternal damnation; stop harming the Church and hindering her liberty. Begone, Satan, inventor and master of all deceit, enemy of man's salvation. Give place to Christ in Whom you have found none of your works; give place to the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church acquired by Christ at the price of His Blood. Stoop beneath the all-powerful Hand of God; tremble and flee when we invoke the Holy and terrible Name of Jesus, this Name which causes hell to tremble, this Name to which the Virtues, Powers and Dominations of heaven are humbly submissive, this Name which the Cherubim and Seraphim praise unceasingly repeating: Holy, Holy, Holy is the Lord, the God of Hosts. V. O Lord, hear my prayer. Let us pray. God of heaven, God of earth, God of Angels, God of Archangels, God of Patriarchs, God of Prophets, God of Apostles, God of Martyrs, God of Confessors, God of Virgins, God who has power to give life after death and rest after work: because there is no other God than Thee and there can be no other, for Thou art the Creator of all things, visible and invisible, of Whose reign there shall be no end, we humbly prostrate ourselves before Thy glorious Majesty and we beseech Thee to deliver us by Thy power from all the tyranny of the infernal spirits, from their snares, their lies and their furious wickedness. Deign, O Lord, to grant us Thy powerful protection and to keep us safe and sound. We beseech Thee through Jesus Christ Our Lord. Amen. V. From the snares of the devil, V. That Thy Church may serve Thee in peace and liberty: V. That Thou may crush down all enemies of Thy Church: (Holy water is sprinkled in the place where we may be.)
